Caroline was 3 weeks yesterday. We have
decided that we will celebrate her birthday each Saturday with a little
party and a special balloon to release or keep for her baby book~not
sure yet.This week she woke up a little more. She loves her bottle and eating so we have had to up her feeding 2x by 10ml each. She now takes 70mls of pumped milk~about half by bottle half by NG tube.
She is also having more awake times where she opens her eyes slightly and moves her head around as if she is looking. She definitely responds to light and really loud noises. Her breathing is becoming more labored as we were told it would.
Over all she is doing well. Eating, sleeping, and growing!
Thank you so much for all of the prayers, encouragment, cards, and love. Although we have had to be distant bc we are trying hard to keep everyone well, we feel your love and are so blessed to have all of you in our lives.
Please continue to pray for us:
for Carolines heart to heal,
her lungs to not fill up with blood,
her respirations to slow,
no aspirating, pneumonia, rsv, flu or illness for everyone
For peace in our home!

Charlotte Watson God put a hedge of angels around you and yours, and His arms of comfort and peace around your hearts. Yours must be a very, very special family indeed for God to have entrusted this precious one to you!
Candice Cortinas Trigo Gabi, sweet Caroline has already touched so many hearts of people she has never even met, myself included. She and our baby Joshua are just days apart and so I think about and pray for Caroline and your family often. And for those moments that are rough with having a newborn I think of you and Caroline and I quickly stop complaining and pray. She already has been blessed with so much of God's grace because she has brought so many to God through prayer. I just wanted to share with you that we have been touched and are continuing to pray for Caroline. Matthew, my soon to be 5 year old put her on his prayer request at school and is always asking about her. Thank you for sharing Caroline's milestones with us. May God bless you and bring healing to your precious Caroline. Amen.
