For Caroline's Cause...

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. In memory of our daughter Caroline we are forming team Sweet Caroline to walk/run in the Preemie Prints 3k/5k For a Cause on Saturday October 25, 2014 at 9am at Central Park in College Station, Texas.
We would love to have you join with us if you are able!
Go to www.preemieprints.org for more info or to register or contact me for more info.
It is $25 per person, 12 and under are free.
All in my family will be walking in the 3k except for Cody who is running the 5k ; )

If you can come, please wear Caroline's color, lavender or any shade of purple, or I might even get tshirts made??   Let me know if you would be interested in purchasing a team tshirt.

Following the race, there is an award ceremony, prizes, and costume contest. There will also be live music, fun for the kids, drinks, food, and shopping all morning. Then from 12:30-1:00 we will be releasing butterflies in honor of Caroline and other babies at the Angel Baby Butterfly Release.
From the website:
This is a 5K/3K costume fun run and walking event. Kids & strollers welcome! Participants are invited to dress up for this fun run for a cause! Participants are also encouraged to form teams, in honor of the cause or in honor of their baby, and bring signs/posters about their baby's journey for our volunteers to hold and cheer runners/walkers on during the race.
This event is being held in support of and to raise awareness for those families who've had a baby born prematurely or critically ill and have had to spend any amount of time in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). In addition this event supports community angel families (those who've had a pregnancy or infant loss). October is Pregnancy and Infant loss awareness month and together we celebrate the lives of many angels. Preemie Prints has a mission to support preemie, NICU, and angel families through a variety of outreach programs. This annual event in Bryan College Station, Tx makes our continued NICU support outreach possible.
